You will have seen on the children's timetables (from Year 1 upwards) a subject called Information Literacy. Information Literacy is a set of skills that the children need to find, evaluate, use and present information. The source of the information may be books or the Internet, but the essential skills are the same. Ms Rachel is hoping to teach Information Literacy alongside the class teachers. You can see below, when I dropped in to a Year 4 session, different groups of children, working with different adults on different tasks. It was great to see so much learning going on.

| One groups practising finding non-fiction books with Ms Yen |

| One group with Ms Rachel using the contents and the index to find information. |
