Mapping Ho Chi Minh and the World - Y3

I came across some excellent geography work in Year 3 yesterday. The children have been looking at maps and also visited the area around the cathedral in District 1 to draw their own sketch maps. From their drawings, the children have produced a 3 dimensional model of the city centre. They also created a map of the world using Play-doh. The children explained to me that the different colours represented heights. The darker the colour, the higher the mountains.

These maps have brought out a more sinister side to some children!  You will have to look at the video on Mr Rob's blog to see what I mean.
