Healthy Breakfasts and Healthy Snacks

Healthy living week has extended our school day. On both Monday and Tuesday children from Year 5 and Year 6 came into school at 7.00am to enjoy a healthy breakfast in the canteen. Scrambled eggs, bagels and fruit were on offer and the children (and some members of staff) were clearly enjoying a nutritious start to the day. YEAR 4 and YEAR 3 CHILDREN - don't miss out on your chance to enjoy breakfast at school. Year 4 children can come along tomorrow (Wednesday) and it is the turn of Year 3 children on Thursday.

The foyer has been busier than usual this week as children and parents have been enjoying healthy drinks and snacks in the 'Nutrition Cafe'. The cafe will remain open after school until 3.00pm on Thursday this week. Do come along and take advantage of the delicious treats available.

PARENTS - for the second time this week there is a coffee morning. Tomorrow morning (Wednesday) Ms Alison, who has recently completed her Masters in 'Food and Nutrition', will be sharing some insights into how the right diet will, not only lead to a more healthy lifestyle, but can help your child to achieve more at school. Join us at 8.00am in the Multi-Purpose Room.
