The Great TXhibition - Year 6

What is the greatest invention ever made?  The children in Year 6 have been working on this question for several weeks.  The result of their research and study was put on display at the Great TXhibition.  

During the Information Literacy sessions with Ms Rachel, groups were given some areas to look into, such as, Education, Farming, Communication and Health.  Within these areas, each child in the group specialised on a particular aspect, so for example, within 'Health', one child researched the work of Edward Jenner and vaccinations.  Using the research skills that have been acquired in Information Literacy, appropriate questions were selected, information found and cross-checked using a number of web-sites,  and presentations put together that were clear and informative.  The only question left unanswered was, 'Which was the greatest invention?'  Everyone who visited the exhibition could vote and the result will be announced later this week.
