Six children from TX were able to not only meet a football legend but also be trained by him. Alex McLeish played football for Aberdeen and won many trophies including when his team beat Real Madrid in the European Cup Winners' Cup. He played for his home country, Scotland, many times including in three world cups. Later he managed a number of teams including Rangers, Aston Villa, Birmingham City and Scotland.
While on holiday to Vietnam, he agreed to spend an afternoon training some BIS children, a memory that will stay with our six TX representatives for a very long time.
