EYFS Transition Meeting

This afternoon, the first of our two EYFS transition meetings took place.  During the session Ms Helen introduced the EYFS team.  She went on to explain the reasons why our transition programme is so important for children, teachers and parents.  Information was provided about the Early Years curriculum and ideas were shared about how you can help your child at home.  The meeting ended with Mr Steve going over the reasons why, for children who speak more than one language, it is so important to maintain a strong home language as well as learning in English at school. 

If you missed this meeting and your child is going into F1, F2 or F3 in August (and you speak Vietnamese), the meeting will be held again in the Multi-purpose Room at 2.40pm tomorrow (Thursday 13th June).
