The Book Order

There was a large pile of boxes in the foyer when I arrived at school this morning, and many more in the office.  The book order has arrived and Ms Mandy has been very busy organising all the orders. Quite rightly, there were many excited visits to the office this morning as children came to collect their bright yellow bag full of books.

Reading is the cornerstone to so much of what we do at school.  Buying books is one of the best investments a parent can make, that along with taking the time to read to children and enjoy books when they are young.  My own home is full of books and before they could even sit up, I read to my own children and now, I am delighted to say, they love reading!
