TX Aquathlon

All day long children were swimming lengths, running relays in the sport's hall or working on problem solving activities in the foyer.  This  could only mean one thing...the annual TX Aquathlon was taking place.
It was great to see so many children encouraging their team to work hard and do their best.  At TX, the standard of swimming is very high and new children often find themselves not as developed as children who have been at TX for several years.  However, in the swimming pool, I watched one class and only heard cheers of encouragement for everyone.
Each time I walked out of the office, there was a different challenge going on.  There was a different challenge for each year group.  I saw the Year 1s trying to hit targets (and then Ms Alison) with water balloons, the Year 2s playing a memory game, the Year 3s had to build the tallest tower with paper.
It was a great day and thanks to Ms Alison and Mr Chau fo all their hard work in putting this event together.
