Community service is a very important part of life at BIS. There are many members of our local community who need help and support. One way to help is to raise money (like at the BBGV fun run later this month), but we believe it is much better for the children to get involved with the projects themselves.
Each Tuesday we have a staff meeting and yesterday's meeting was an introduction to the community programme for teachers. Children from the Poussieres De Vie project and the Binh Trieu School came to TX and joined in a whole host of activities put on by the teachers and teaching assistants, supported by a number of Year 6 children.
