Trung Thu Vui Ve!

Several tears of joy were shed this morning as our EYFS children arrived at school in their ao dais, and then took part in the EYFS Moon Festival Celebration.  The rest of the school will be celebrating tomorrow, so I look forward to greeting everyone on the gate wearing their traditional Vietnamese costumes.
A central part of the Moon Festival story is the making of lanterns to guide chu Cuoi back to Earth from the moon.  It has become a tradition at TX for the children to take part in a lantern making competition.  All the lanterns have been displayed in classrooms over the last week and this morning, Ms Sue and I had the very difficult job of choosing winners from each class.
As ever the standard was very high and some of the ideas were very creative. Thank you to everyone who put the time and effort into entering the competition and the winners will be announced in assembly tomorrow morning.
Which lantern is your favourite?
