Finer Diners - MP1

There was great excitement in assembly this morning when I announced that it was the turn of Mile Post 1 to join Ms Sue and me at the 'Finer Diner' table this lunch time. When Bao Van, Billy and Naomi (Year 2) and Browny, Nicholas and Yui (Year 1) arrived downstairs there was a little confusion particularly among the Year 1 children.  Fortunately, the experienced Year 2s were able to show them where to sit and what to do.  The conversation, as is always the case with MP1 children was lively and diverse ranging from speaking Russian, to maths problems involving square roots, and on to what exactly does a deputy headteacher do? When all questions had been satisfactorily answered, the final Finer Diners of this half term came to an end as the children sensibly returned to their classrooms.
