It was hot on the streets of Saigon this morning, as I joined a band of six adventurers set the challenge of navigating through the urban jungle until they find their treasure...Haagen Dazs ice cream.
This was the exit point of the Adventurers and Explorers topic that started back in September when the children met Henry Evans, the Antarctic Explorer. During their topic the children have been learning about maps and the importance of being able to navigate and this morning the children put those skills to the test in order to reach their destination.
Well done to everyone who took part, although has anybody seen Mr Steve's group. What happened to them?
We were visiting a great sailing ship, singing outside the Opera House, keeping cool in the Rex, watching fish and trying to play piano, before helping some lost Japanese tourists!!! It was an adventurous route... ;-)
