Preparations are well under way for our annual Tet celebrations at TX. On Thursday morning, our youngest children will begin the celebrations. Dressed in their ao dais, the children will be performing songs and dances in the foyer at 8.30am. On Friday, it is the turn of children in Years 1 to 6; I have witnessed a number of different performances being practised, so make sure you arrive early to get a good seat in the sports hall; the Tet assembly starts at 8.10am.
As well as the assemblies, we have the Tet Toy Collection. In the foyer there are boxes where you can deposit toys, clothes (that are in good condition) and books. These will be distributed to those less fortunate than ourselves, after Tet.
