'You have one hour and thirty minutes - good luck teams!' The children set off around the streets of Hoi An with lists of items to buy, photos to be taken, questions to be answered and actions to do. I am sure the other tourists must have thought it strange that groups of children were one minute singing the Vietnamese national anthem by the Japanese covered bridge, then buying fish sauce the next. It was unfortunate for one particular street vendor when 3 groups arrived at the same time all asking for 'cao lau' (noodles), then as a group, trying to eat it as quickly as possible.
As I type, the result is unknown. Later the judges decision will be announced and we will discover if Hanoi, Saigon, Hue or Dalat will be the winner.
