There was rubbish everywhere when I walked into assembly this morning. Ms Sue and I were completely flummoxed; what was going on? As soon as the assembly started it became clear there was a 'green' message being given, especially when Michael Recycle, clothed in green, dashed to the front with his eco-message for everyone.
By the end of the assembly, we were left in no doubt that we need to look after our planet and reduce, reuse and recycle. The purpose of the assembly was not just to give the sustainability message again, but also to remind everyone about next week's GREEN DAY.
On Tuesday, everyone should come to school wearing green, and there are a number of activities that we will be taking part in to help us focus on caring for the environment. Please see the class blogs and this weeks newsletter for more details.
