'Be safe online!' That was the message from this morning's assembly given to us by the children in 4T. We were introduced to On-line Oliver, Lazy Lauren, Dippy Dorothy and Two-faced Tom who all had issues to do with being safe on-line. For example, we learnt that Dippy Dorothy was very friendly and chatty, but sometimes didn't consider the possible consequences of her actions. She wouldn't talk to strangers she met in the street, but would happily to 'chat' to people she met on-line. At the Finer Diner table at lunchtime, we carried on talking about these issues with children in Years 3 and 4. It was clear they had understood the message from assembly, but talked about befriending people when they are on-line playing games such as 'Clash of Clans'. This certainly is an issue we need to keep talking about.
Well done to Dasha, Pauline and Benz (Year 3), and Rishi, Huy and Jenny (Year 4) who were our Finer Diners today.
