I have now attended three finals of BIS Young Musician of the Year, and each time I am astounded by the standard of the performances. The children at BIS are so talented and, as the children are playing, I have to remind myself that they are still in primary school. For the last three years, the winner has come from TX and last night that run was brought to an end by an exceptional violin performance from Julia Suh who is in Year 6 at the An Phu Campus. However, TX was represented amongst the top three with Rose Duong coming third for her beautiful piano playing. Well done to everyone who took part and particularly to our TX representatives, Rose, Anthony, Eugene, Nicholas and Jasmine. Friday, 16 May 2014
