There are many exciting school events during the year, but TX's Got Talent is probably the one that most children look forward to the most. Having made it past the auditions and semi-finals, having practised so hard and for so long, at last today arrived; the Final!
The girls in Year 6 started very strongly with a well choreographed and executed dance routine. The talent then continued to flow for the next hour with songs and dances that kept everyone entertained. The standard was amazing and the judges had a really difficult time choosing the top three acts. Third went to Chae-Rim and Victoria supported by the Year 1 girls for their original version of 'Let it Go' from Frozen, second went to Diana with a really powerful rendition of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep', but the winner was Theresa who preformed a beautiful and flawless traditional Vietnamese tray dance.
Thank you to Mr Richard and Ms Nicola for all their hard work in organising this event and well done to all the children at TX...you really have got talent.
Oh, the teachers did a dance as well.
