It was wonderful to meet so many new families at TX this morning, and welcome siblings of students who are already attending BIS. There was a lot of information given this morning; much of the information is in the Parent Handbook, and I have added a copy of Ms Sue's presentation below.

Blogs
We use blogs a great deal at TX as they are a great way to communicate and build the link between school and home. It easy for the class teacher to:
- Celebrate achievements in class.
- Share information about upcoming events.
- Show photos and videos.
Another advantage of blogs are the tools.
The translate tool - It easy to switch between languages.
The Follow By Email tool - You do not need to keep checking the blog. When something new is posted, you will receive an email to tell you.
To set up 'follow by e-mail', follow these simple steps:
1) Add your email address.
2) Prove you are not a robot
3) Click on the link when you receive the verification e-mail.
