We Really Do Love Books!

From the evidence I have seen this week it is absolutely clear that at TX, we really do love books. 

Monday morning began with a coffee morning to introduce Adam Bushnell, our visiting author, who reinforced the importance of spending time reading to our children as well as listening to them read.  In fact, he was in no doubt that developing a love of reading was the most important thing we can do as parents.  

The rest of the week was filled with classic stories, like 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar', being retold, workshops with Adam Bushnell, times to 'snuggle up and read' or visits to the 'book cafe' in the library.

Thank you to all the teachers and teaching assistants who have worked so hard to make this week such a success and to help instil the love of books in the children of TX.
