Although the children are not back until Monday, the term started today for all the members of staff at TX. As part of our programme of 'Continuing Professional Development' (CPD), these two days have been set apart for teachers and teaching assistants to receive training and take time to discuss and plan for school improvement. Areas that we are looking at today and tomorrow include, developing the role of our teaching assistants, how the outdoor spaces can be better used in EYFS, preparation for 'Healthy Week' and further developing writing at TX.
To support us in this we have two visitors from the UK. Jan White is an expert in using the outdoors to develop the Early Years curriculum, and Eva Cartwright is from the TA College and will be working with our teaching assistants.
