Cinderella's Unhappy Ending - Year 2

Integrating ICT into all aspects of the curriculum is one of the priorities for school improvement at TX.  in English, Year 2 have been studying traditional fairy tales and trying to come up with some alternative endings.  I came across a group of children from Ms Louise's class, who were retelling the story of Cinderella.  We all know that the slipper fitted, Cinderella married her prince and they all lived happily ever after.  Well, not in this story!  When the ugly sisters tried the slipper on, it fitted and the prince had to be true to his word and marry her instead of Cinders!  
Having come up with this unhappy ending, the children were photographed at different stages of the story.  They identified what the characters said, and were busy recording their voices and sound effects, to be added to a Powerpoint book later this week.  
This is a great example of how ICT is being used to enhance the work that is going on in English.
