Back at the hotel, the children divided in four groups and then took it in turns completing different activities. There was a very challenging game of water balloon volleyball, a maze that had to be crossed following a secret pattern and a spider's web that the children had to climb through, without touching the web and using each space only once. Some relaxation time provided the opportunity to enjoy the pool for half an hour then it was back to the rooms to prepare for the evening programme.
No visit to Hoi An is complete without a tour of the old town. We visited the Phuc Kien temple which was built over 300 years ago. We made our way through the old streets to the house of Tan Ky which is one of the oldest in Hoi An. We were all amazed to hear that when the river floods, the water sometimes goes as high as the second floor. The last major landmark on our tour was the Japanese bridge, where we posed for photographs before heading across the river to Al Fresco's for some pizza.
After dinner we went back to the river to place lanterns on the water. Much thought was given to the three wishes that went with each one. Next to the river there is a night market and the children spent a short time buying souvenirs. With the hard bargaining complete, we headed back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.

ReplyDeleteI love the ideas of these creative team building events that have been designed, they really yield great results when it comes to developing the team building efforts within the children, they really love the activities involved at such events an example would be Bicycle Team Building event.
