The Long Hai Oscars

Residential trips provide children with many opportunities to develop confidence, independence and a sense of adventure.  They also bring to light different parts of children's characters that are not always obvious at school. 

This morning, the children in Year 4 were presented with a whole series of awards for all sorts of different reasons.  Some were commendable; 'Most Caring', 'Best Singer', others not so, 'Messiest Eater', 'Most Likely to Lose Clothing'.  

All in all it was a wonderful way to remember the events of Long Hai and to fix it in the memories of the children and staff who went.
