Most children love to cook and there is always a great deal of excitement when teachers tell their classes that they are going to the canteen to make some delicious food.
Ms Helen has been looking to improve the facilities we have at TX and over the holidays, Phase 1 of the improvements were put into place. We now have two distinct, colourful, cooking areas, new microwaves and a new oven in the canteen. My mouth waters at the thought of the wonderful food that will be produced in the future.
On a related note, next Wednesday (24th April), Ms Alison has organised a coffee morning for anyone wishing to get involved with helping to develop the nutritional quality of the meals at TX. Please see the newsletter and digital signs in the foyer.
