Welcome to Waterworld - Y2

There were some wet looking children on the yard this morning as the children in Year 2 had their entry point for the new IPC topic, Waterworld.  With a focus on science and geography, the topic is sure to be one that the children will get a lot from.  It is so important that the children learn the importance of  drinking clean water and washing hands before meals, etc., and that many children around the world do not have access to clean water or good sanitation.
Today, however, was all about having fun and stimulating interest in topic that will cover areas including pollution, water animals, the desert and the artist David Hockney's water pictures.
