The sound of a car horn is often heard on the streets of
Ho Chi Minh City, but when I went to investigate why one particular horn kept
on being sounded I discovered Year 2 children were the source of the
noise. The playground was full of
different types of vehicles; a bicycle, a cyclo, 2 motorbikes, a school bus and
Ms Sue's car. The children were
delighted to be sitting in the front seat, pretending to drive, and of course,
no drive in Saigon is complete without a good amount of horn. What a great 'Entry Point' to start their IPC
topic - 'Transport'.
