Interhouse Basketball - Milepost 3

The excitement in the sports hall was almost tangible when I walked in at lunchtime. Four groups of children sat wearing their house colours.  As Ms Charlie tossed the basketball into the air, to get the proceedings underway, shouts and cheers echoed around.
Pre-match favourites Saigon were on first.  The game was tight and there was a determination on the part of the Hue team.  It could have gone either way, but in the Hue's level of performance enabled them to prevail.  Another close game between Hanoi and Dalat followed with Hanoi emerging as the victors.
in the play-off match, Saigon claimed third place leaving only the final.  Hue had an air of confidence having beaten Saigon in their first match, but Hanoi were not going to make it easy.  Soon, however Anthony, Yaya, Yu Gyeong, Abbie and Hung took hold of the game, and the attacking prowess of Hue was too strong.  The final whistle went and the yellow celebrations began.
