Community service at BIS can take many forms. Year 6 have been working with children from Poussieres de Vie this term on an art project, and today the foyer was filled with their work. The theme for the project was traditional Vietnamese art and various examples were on display from large canvases to silk paintings. Also, badges, stickers and greetings cards were produced from the images the children had created.
All the money raised from sales at the exhibition will go towards buying art resources for the Poussieres de Vie children. If you missed the chance to buy items today, some will be on sale at the BISzaar on Saturday at AP2.
