The red table cloth, hoa mai in the middle of the table with small red envelopes hanging from the branches, and Vietnamese conical hats with banh chung inside them were all signs that today was a special Tet themed Finer Diners. Pana, Jeanette and Vi Tri (Year 5) and Vivian, Yaya and Dhiren (Year 6) joined Ms Oanh and me to continue our Tet celebrations at TX .
The children were excited about the prospect of the Tet holiday and seeing friends and relatives in different parts of the world. Although, the reality of attending an international school was also very clear as we said goodbye to Vivian and Lina from Year 6 and took the last opportunity to enjoy Jun's company at the Finer Diner table. Will miss all three of them (and Sun, Jun's younger sister).
