Releasing Excellence through building Self-esteem

Achieving academic excellence is only made possible if children feel happy and calm.  This is a message that Jenny Mosley has been giving for the last 20 years in the UK.  It is no exaggeration to say that she has influenced government policy and changed the way learning happens in schools across the world.  Backed by many years of research into the field of neuro-science, she encourages schools to keep in focus the social and emotional aspects of learning so children are ready to fully engage with their learning.
Teachers from TX and AP1 spent Tuesday learning more of her ideas and approaches, and on Wednesday we had the opportunity to see them in action in our classrooms, as Jenny led a number of 'circle times'.
