Last Saturday, Ms Sue and I represented the Tu Xuong Campus at the graduation of the Year 13 students who had completed their education at BIS. As part of the ceremony, a video was shown of the students now and when they were very young. You couldn't help sharing the emotions and pride as parents looked at photos of young children contrasted with recent images of their sons and daughters, who were now closing a hugely significant chapter of their lives.
On Thursday morning there was a different but also significant moment in the lives of our EYFS children. For some, 'Animals Great and Small', was the first time they had been part of a concert. For others, they were taking a leading role, or had the confidence to enjoy the occasion for the first time. Of course, as parents we like to catch these moments with cameras, phones, iPads and camcorders. In the crowd of parents it is difficult to get a really good photo, but Mr Mike was on hand at the rehearsal and the performance to get some fantastic close-ups of the children.
Please have a look at the slideshow below, or click on the 'Photolink' (below the slideshow) to download photos of your child. Who knows? In sixteen years time, we may be looking at that photo when you child graduates from BIS!
Well said Mr. Ian and it so true :-) lovely photos too.
