Aladdin - the MP2 Production

Parents of children in Milepost 2 are in for a treat tonight.  Children, teachers and teaching assistants have been working really hard over the last two weeks to put on a traditional English pantomime - Aladdin.
For many the term 'pantomime' conjours up images of people with white gloves acting silently without any props;  an English pantomime is completely different.  There are certain ingredients that need to be included; the leading male character (in this case Aladdin) is played by a girl, Aladdin's mother is played by a boy, there is always singing and dancing, and the audience has an important role to play. Whenever the baddie (Abanazer) comes on stage, he is to be greeted by boos and hisses, whereas Aladdin gets lots of cheers whenever things go well.  It all makes for a great piece of family entertainment as I am sure you will agree if you come along.
Just to whet your appetite, below is a video of one of the songs from the show.
