Skyping Santa

Following on the wonderful performance of 'Ralph the Reindeer' this morning, the children in EYFS had a very special appointment this afternoon.  Sometimes we have had a visitor come to TX at this time of year, to talk to the children about whether or not they have been good and what they would like for Christmas.  This year, using Skype, we had an opportunity to talk to  Santa in his office at home in the North Pole.  The children had many questions to ask Santa including how he made the reindeer fly and what is favourite food was.  The answers, by the way, he sprinkles the reindeer with magic dust from something like a salt shaker, and mince pies.  

Not only was it wonderful to talk to Santa like this, but we also teamed up with children from a school in Cyprus.  They also had loads of great questions and I think were equally as excited about Christmas.
