Presents were piled high in the foyer. The decorations were hung. The lanterns were twinkling in the playground. The stalls were full of items for sale. The stage was set. At 6.00pm the Tu Xuong Christmas Musical Market opened with the orchestra leading us into a truly wonderful TX event. The performances from the choirs, ensembles and bands were the main event, but also the market helped us to raise a significant sum of money for the charities that we support.
On nights like tonight, I am so proud to be a member of the TX community as everyone played their part. Ms Mandy, the maintenance team and the guards did an amazing job making our school look so festive, the teachers and teaching assistants prepared all the items for sale and were around to make sure the event went smoothly, Mr Robbie and a team of supporting teachers coordinated all the performances, and an appreciative body of parents enjoyed the whole evening. Last, but certainly not least, the children sang and played beautifully to keep us all entertained and to set us up for the holiday season.
Merry Christmas to the whole TX Community!
