Unfortunately I was unable to attend the coffee morning on Thursday this week. Our Japanese families had worked hard to prepare for a wonderful morning. Following a presentation, there was a demonstration of how to make the sushi roll, then it was everyone's turn. Ingredients were selected and the sushi roll making began. It was shortly after this that I entered the Multi-purpose Room, just in time to taste some of the sushi. It was delicious! Thank you to all the Japanese parents who helped to make the sushi making so enjoyable, and to Anne Salapete who encouraged everyone to get involved and helped promote this event.Friday, 5 December 2014
