MFL - Modern Foreign Language

A key element of our vision at TX is that we are educating 'global citizens'. To me, that means children who respect, value and appreciate other nations language, culture and traditions. There are times, like in International Week, where we have a particular focus on Internationalism. There are also aspects of our curriculum where all through the year it is on-going; MFL is one of those areas. Today, I joined the Year 3s who were learning parts of the body in Chinese with Ms. Sara. Our Year 3 and Year 4 children have one term of Chinese, one of Spanish and one of French, before choosing to specialise in one language in Mile Post 3.
