Love, St. Valentine and the heart, was the focus of our assembly this morning and although the children were told they could bring their girlfriend or boyfriend to 'Finer Diners' everybody decided to bring a friend instead. Having said that, there was a lot of discussion about matters of the heart the children were very keen to tell Ms Sue and I who was whose girlfriend or boyfriend. The discussion soon turned, however, to the main topic of conversation this week, namely 'Science Day'. It was very clear that the children were highly motivated by all the activities that were carried out in Milepost 1, and look forward to learning more about science.
Congratulations to An, Toshi and Phuong in Year 1 and Nathan, Gabbie and Yegor in Year 2 who were this weeks 'Finer Diners'.
