French is our 'Language in Focus' this month. In assembly, this morning, we were introduced to greetings and numbers, and the animals through the story, 'The Enormous Turnip'. The focus continued this lunchtime as Thibault (who was the farmer in assembly), Tracy and Hershey (Year 4) and Yun Seo, Duy Anh and Bonny (Year 3) joined me for lunch. Ms Sue was at a meeting in An Phu so Ms Emma, our Milepost 2 leader, joined the merry party as we recalled all the French words we could think of. As the children get taster sessions from F3, many were familiar with the basics, although we had Thibault, our expert to help us if we could not remember.
