Community Service at TX
Community service is an integral part of life at the BIS. For those who are new to the school, each year group is assigned a community partner. By working with a range of organisations, our aim is to see the children develop a sense of social responsibility towards those less fortunate than themselves. The moral characteristics care, respect and integrity, referred to in our 'Aide Memoire', are developed through being involved with the children of the Thien Phuoc Orphanage or learning about Animal Rescue and Care, to name but two examples.
After school on Tuesday, children from three of our community partner, Poussieres de Vie, Tran Khanh Du School and the TX Centre, joined in a number of activities provided by the teachers at TX and a number of Year 6 volunteers.
